For over 25 years Safari Nordik, has provided caribou hunters with the best access to North America’s most substantial caribou herds: the Leaf River and the George River herds. The Leaf River herd, with a population in excess of 550,000 and 450,000 for the George River herd, offer big game hunters the ultimate big game hunt experience.
Seasoned hunters from around the world have sought after this majestic trophy. Few have afforded themselves the luxury of visiting Canada’s northern frontier to experience the joy of hunting this great migratory beast first-hand. Located more precisely in the Great Northern Quebec Tundra, Safari Nordik will make you live an experience that you’ll want to repeat or cherish for a lifetime.
Still the highest in the industry
This year again we had a great season whit over 40 potential book entries; our success rate is at 1.7 bull per hunter; therefore we are still the highest in the industry. In order to achieve this success rate, we had to relocate many of our hunters during a slow period. Fortunately, with the number of our camps we were able to place most hunters in a better game environment. We also relocated crews to camps that hadn’t been used for a few years to follow caribou patterns. This year we will have 28 hunters returning on guarantee out of 756 that trusted us with their hunt plans in 2009.

Our Teams
ON THE FIELD
Over 75 employees are on duty during our hunting season to insure a flawless experience to all of our guests. We may have up to 50 guides, and 14 camp managers along with 14 cooks and support staff in that part of the world.

8 full time employees work out of the Montreal office yearly to insure all the necessary preparations for the season:
